North America's only active Crystal Mining is a few minutes away from the front gate. Dig to your heart's content and take home everything that you find - for friends and family.

Located in a valley surrounded by the Ouachita Mountains and the great Diamond Lakes of Ouachita, Hamilton and Catherine, Hot Springs National Park has thrived as a tourist destination for the past 100 years. Spend the day relaxing in the historic baths of Hot Springs National Park or go shopping on Central Avenue. Stop in one of the many unique shops or fine art galleries. Hot Springs is home to Oaklawn Jockey Club, America's dominant thoroughbred horse-racing facility, featuring 60-plus days of thrilling thoroughbred racing from late January through April each year.

Got a penchant for danger? Visit the Gangster Museum of America to learn about the nation’s most notorious mobsters who liked to hang out (and hide out) in Hot Springs.
