Community Support November 2020

November is generally known as the month for being thankful. In our busy and hectic lives everyone takes a moment to reflect. The things that have made us better and grateful compel us to give back. “Being a part of and giving back to our community is a top priority.” – Clara Nicolosi. Here are some of the ways we showed “Thanksgiving” to our community in November:

Salvation Army – Every year thousands of children are given the gift of Christmas through donations and support from the Salvation Army. RE/Max of Hot Springs Village was happy to give a donation to the Christmas project of Toys for Kids.

Jackson House – Eleanor Klugh Jackson House for Crisis Intervention Services, Inc., commonly known as “Jackson House,” is an interfaith community crisis center which provides short-term emergency assistance for basic needs. We continued to collect toys and coats for the Jackson House.

HSV Veterans Memorial & MOAA – “As a retired Warrant Officer with the Coast Guard and the secretary of our local Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) chapter, I believe I have a responsibility to help grow these organizations.” – Clara Nicolosi. In November, we sponsored information rack cards for both HSV Veterans Memorial & MOAA.

Hot Springs ChamberRE/MAX of Hot Springs Village joined the Hot Springs Chamber. “We do so much business in Hot Springs, I believe it is important to be more invested in the areas where we live and serve.” – Clara Nicolosi.

Goodies for Gramps – This is a project that ensures that everyone living in the local nursing homes gets a Christmas treat to open. A donation was made by RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village for their efforts.

Hot Springs Village Community FoundationRE/MAX joined the Hot Springs Village Community Foundation (HSVCF) as a corporate member. We have been a regular member for many years. This is such a worthy organization that can do so much with the money. Clara Nicolosi serves as the Vice Chair of the HSVCF this year.

These efforts help to strengthen our community as a whole. We hope that you find opportunities to give back and will continue to help grow, support, and positively impact the great community of Hot Springs Village. Together we can make a difference.
