What exactly does your company do?
We are a full-service Real Estate Company. New home construction, home sales & resales, buildable homesites, long-term home leasing program and nightly (vacation) rentals.
How did you start your company/business as a startup?
Mine is a Cinderella story:
I came to RE/MAX of Hot Springs Village as the Personal Assistant to an Executive Broker, who just happened to be my brother-in-law. When the market started to decline in the late 2000s, I accepted a position with the Firm as a receptionist. Growing in my receptionist role, I fleeted up to the financial manager and then general manager for the company. When it came time for the owners to sell, they offer me the opportunity to become the owner. Taking ownership at the beginning of the next calendar year left me with some big shoes to fill.
What struggle did you go through to reach your current status now?
The previous owner was a skillful marketer. Fortunately, I had the many aspects of the day to day operations down, I was able to hire someone to run the marketing functions of the business.
How did you manage to cope up with those struggles?
I was able to partner with Designs Group Consulting, Dannet Botkin for this role.
Who inspired you to move forward and influenced you in all your achievements now?
She and her company have been one of the best decisions I ever made on behalf of the Real Estate Firm. We continue to strive together to help our community grow and thrive!
